Learn how to wear the “great kilt” (all nine yards of material) and watch bobbin lace making, spinning and wool preparation, inkle looming, leather crafting and much more by the CROFT(Celtic Re-enactment Organization for Fellowship and Trades ). All demonstrations are performed in authentic Renaissance style clothing with emphasis on the middle class tradesmen and women who would have lived in a village or town.

Fighting it out in a medieval enclosure . The Kingdom of Atenveldt is part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA ) , a not-for-profit educational organization that studies western European history by recreating the "best" pastimes and crafts of the Middle Ages. They try to bring the best of the Middles Ages back to life, by making an attempt at the proper clothing, or learning calligraphy, fencing, dancing, or whatever medieval activities you find interesting.

Step back in time to the moor's of Scotland. The 1745 Jacobite Society hosts the Black Powder Demonstrations on flintlock muskets and pistols and battle skirmishes of eighteenth century Scotland. The 1745'ers are a living history and re-enactment group based here in the valley, comprised of members from throughout Arizona, Colorado and California. Gather on the open green of the re-enactment area and step back in time to the Rising's that changed Scotland and the Clan system forever.

The Highland Rogues are a swashbuckeling troupe that will inspire the swordsman in us all. Along with a comedy troupe, the rogues will have you splitting your sides and possibly remove your head in the process. Based in Northern Arizona in and around Flagstaff and Williams, the rogues will be part of the blackpowder demonstrations and take part in the skirmishes that are planned for your enjoyment. This same group hosts the French and Indian War Encampment in Williams throughout Memorial Day weekend.
